OTT , 넷플릭스 골든글로브상 17부문 노미네이트
지난번 골든글로브상에 기생충이 외국어영화상을 받았습니다. 기쁜일이죠.
특히 골든글로브 시상식 최우수 작품상 후보 5편 중, 넷플릭스 작품이 3편이나 됩니다. 2020년에도 17개 부분이노미네이트된 것을 보면 플랫폼의 변화를 알 수 있습니다. HBO 등 전통적인 채널들도 많은 부분에서 노미네이트되었습니다.
이제는 전통적인 방송사가 아니라 영상 '송출'서비스와 제작 프로덕션이 중심이 되어야 하는 시대입니다. 이 부분을 한국에서도 어디에 투자를 해야할 지, 어떻게 나아가야할 지를 알 수 있겠습니다.
넷플릭스는 17개 부분이 노미네이트 되었고, HBO는 15개 부분입니다. 아마존은 2개 작품입니다. (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Fleabag.”) 애플TV는 “The Morning Show.”라는프로그램입니다.
디즈니는 전통적인 스튜디오이기때문이지만, 작년에 런칭을 시작했다는 것을 감안해볼때, 올 2020년 디즈니플러스라는 스트리밍서비스에서도 오리지널 콘텐츠를 제작할 것을 예측해봅니다. BBC아메리카(킬링이브) 그리고 USA네트워크( “Mr. Robot,” ) FX 채널의 “Fosse/Verdon”, “Pose)도 노미네티트 되었습니다.
이제는 한국처럼 지상파냐 케이블채널이냐라는 구분은 별로 의미가 없을 수 있고, 영상서비스 기술과 작품의 질, 마케팅 등이 중요한 시기가 이미 왔다는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
